The cold weather has come back with a vengeance, feline lovers of the internet. You might not be privy to this information because most cat owners hibernate over the weekend. What? We don't have to walk our cats in the early hours of the meowrning as dog parents do! Remember what we said about weekends and how they're reserved for coziness? Well, that's not the case all the time. The laundry isn't going to do itself, and the little brown crunchies that fall out of our cats' mouths won't pick themselves up. Well, if your feline is like a cat-sized Roomba like mine, you might not have to lift a finger. It's pretty nice, until he starts begging me for hooman food at every turn.

This is true for all pet owners. When you have an animal child of your own, it feels so similar to having a hooman baby. They are family, and everyone must meet them. This is a non-negotiable thing. When friends come over, they must greet my cat with a paw shake and a warm smile.
